TO OUR FRIENDS—

As the year ends
and another rolls around,
we look back with a longing
to recapture the past.

But then we are reminded of the saying...

"TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF THE REST OF MY LIFE."

And we say...

"THE NEW YEAR IS THE FIRST YEAR
OF THE REST OF OUR LIVES."

So we tuck away our fond memories where we can
get to them occasionally in photos and letters.

It is comforting to know they are there.

But now it's on to new moments of happiness and joy...

May you find them, in the New Year too,
And in this blessed Christmas time.
